Wales holds a special place in the hearts of both the Kate and William; it is where King Charles III and the late Princess Diana brought William for his first official engagement, when he was just eight, and where William and Kate had their first home as newlyweds, as the prince worked as a search and rescue pilot in the area.

Anglesey, in Wales, was also the home of the couple's first child, Prince George, and it's where they chose to bring Prince George and Princess Charlotte over the Jubilee weekend.

For the visit today, Kate wore a sophisticated red coat with gold buttons over a black top, silky black wide-leg pants, and a matching pair of pointed-toe heels. William, meanwhile, wore a sleek navy suit and tie over a light blue dress shirt and black shoes.

They visited Anglesey and the RNLI Holyhead Lifeboat Station in Holyhead, where they met crew, volunteers, and some of those who have been supported by their local unit. They also met locals and representatives of small businesses and organizations, including the Coastguard and Sea Cadets.

The Prince and Princess of Wales will later visit St. Thomas Church, a redeveloped church in Swansea that supports locals through food banks and other initiatives. There, the royals will meet church volunteers and spend time with members of the public gathered outside the church.

Kate has previously worked with Baby Banks and in the summer of 2020 brought together 19 British brands and retailers to donate more than 10,000 new items to more than 40 baby banks nationwide.
