Queen Letizia Of Spain Was Elegant In Black At Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral
She and King Felipe VI paid their respects to the late monarch.

The British royal family said their final goodbyes to Queen Elizabeth II yesterday at her funeral. And to honor the life and 70-year reign of the beloved late monarch, they invited world leaders, friends, and royals from other countries to attend the service.
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain were among the attendees. The royals, who live in Zarzuela Palace outside Madrid, have long been close with the British royals and in 2017 spent three days with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip in London.
This March, they also attended the late Prince Philip's memorial service.

About 2,000 guests gathered yesterday to honor Queen Elizabeth in respectful mourning attire and military uniforms for certain working royals.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia looked sophisticated in a black belted pencil dress with buttons on the shoulders by Carolina Herrera. She styled the piece with sheer black stockings, glossy black pointed-toe pumps, and a black leather Giorgio Armani handbag.
The queen also accessorized with a black fascinator with a netted veil by Cherubina, black leather gloves, and pen-shaped white gold-and-diamond earrings by Chanel.

Husband King Felipe wore his military uniform, following protocol. The two walked arm in arm into the somber ceremony, joining British royals including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince Harry, and Duchess Meghan. The former king and queen of Spain—King Emeritus Juan Carlos and Sofía—were also present.

One day earlier, Letizia and Felipe visited Queen Elizabeth's coffin as it lay in state at Westminster Hall.
