Sparks fly almost every time Drake and Rihanna join forces, and that doesn’t just apply to their catchy singles. From their steamy scenes in Rihanna’s “Work” music video, to hissurprise appearances on her Anti World Tour (and a few late night rendezvouses in between), there’s no denying the obvious chemistry between the on-and-off-couple.
At Drake’s annual OVO Fest (a music festival in Toronto hosted by the rapper’s OVO record label), Rihanna naturally made a cameo. She arrived daringly dressed, per usual, this time in hip-high Manolo Blahnik x Vetements boots over jean shorts and a bustier tank.
The duo performed their collaborations “Work” and “Too Good” together, and Drake even stepped back to let RiRi take the stage for solo performances of “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “Needed Me.” Despite the mini medley of their current work, the best moments from the set were their adorable exchanges.
They broke into laughter, grinded (as seems to be their go-to duet dance move) and got very close to each other—so close that the audience broke into cheers when it appeared they were about to kiss, but they coyly played it off and continued their set.
“You are way too good to me and this entire city,” Drake said to Rihanna in front of the crowd before she exited the stage.
