Ryan Reynolds On The Moment He Knew Blake Lively Was The One
It happened one night in New York City
The story of your/Taylor Swift's favorite couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' first date has been well-reported: They tried to set the other up with a friend during a double date (apparently at Boston's O Ya restaurant) and then ended up being " just like fireworks"—as Reynolds put it—with each other.
They started dating, and then Reynolds had that other big moment: the one where he realized Blake Lively was the one. That happened in New York City, he told GQ, who asked him when he knew it was going to happen with Lively:
"Probably after the sex. No, we were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that's open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, "Want to dance?" No one was in there, so it was just totally empty. And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, "Oh, I think I just crossed a line." And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don't really need to go into what happened after that."
Reynolds was asked if he remembered that pivotal song. "I do, but I'm not gonna say. You're shut out." Aw. Perhaps Blake Lively will tell us later...
