As well as numerous politicians – including US President Donald Trump and New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Arden – the list features a whole host of female talent in Hollywood.

Oh – who is one of the stars of Killing Eve and played host at this year's Golden Globes – was named on the list for the first time. The actress was praised for her comic timing and extraordinary acting skills in a piece written by Shonda Rhimes for Time.

Meanwhile, Teigen – who boasts a huge Instagram following and numerous successful cookbooks – also made the list, as did Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. Brie Larson, an Oscar-winning actress who plays the first female Marvel superhero to have her own movie, also has a spot on the list.

And some of fashion's most well-known faces have also been recognised on the prestigious list, including the Givenchy creative director and woman behind Meghan Markle's now iconic wedding gown, Clare Waight Keller. Pierpaolo Piccioli – the creative director of Valentino – was also given a coveted spot.

"His reign in the House of Valentino has been a lesson in grace," actress Frances McDormand wrote for the magazine. "He feels no need to erase the past but builds on its foundation and by doing so makes the future of the house stronger, braver."

Michelle Obama, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Glenn Close and Taylor Swift also featured. See the entire Time 100 list here.
