“I’ve finally had the time to read Dana Thomas’ brilliant Fashionopolis cover-to-cover. It was such a pleasure meeting Dana and showing her our process and it was such a nice surprise to be part of her introductory chapter. The discussion surrounding slowing fashion down and producing in a sustainable, sensible way has never been more relevant.”

“I have been stepping out daily to walk around my new neighbourhood. We had moved home in February, just before we went on lockdown, and I feel lucky that we have a new neighbourhood to explore. The streets are quiet and I rarely had the time before to take a break and enjoy the nature that surrounds us.”

“I’ve been very consistent with my skincare routine. Keeping my skin hydrated has been the biggest challenge, so I have been moisturising and using mists throughout the day to keep my skin from being reactive. I’ve also balanced my circadian rhythm by going to bed early, which is also part of balancing out my day not to work after a certain point like I used to do before.”

“I try to think positively. I’m an optimistic person intrinsically and during these times the best wellness tool for me is to stay inspired and be creative. Creativity is a great form of expression that can convert any feelings of anxiety into being productive.”

9. The app I’ve used most…

“I’m on Zoom all day for our team meetings, external work-related calls, family time and catching up with friends. It is a new routine that has made our design process so different already. We are concentrating more on the graphic part of our work because we haven’t had to have any fittings yet and we design collectively on a shared screen. It’s made the process, in many ways, more efficient and I find we are trusting our instincts more.”
