Finally, some news we can all get excited about: Samantha Jones—in all her sexually empowered, DGAF glory—might be making a comeback to your TV screen soon.
On Friday, talkshow host Wendy Williams did a segment discussing a recent rumor that Sex and the Cityactress Kim Cattrall was in talks with HBO to do a spin-off series in which she’d reprise her iconic role of Samantha Jones. But we’ve all heard these and other SATC reboot rumors over the years, and none have yet come to fruition, so NBD right?

Except that Kim Cattrall all but confirmed it on Twitter where she let slip that a Sex and the City spin-offcould actually be a thing, and that, if so, she’d be returning as our favorite NYC PR exec.
“I’m so unbelievably flattered & moved,” Cattrall tweeted in reply to Williams’ post on the subject. “Can’t WAIT 2 get back 2 the serious business of making u all laugh! Fingers x’d.”

I don’t know how you interpret all this, but it appears to me like a ‘yes, this is happening’.Can you imagine how spectacular a Samantha Jones spin-off would be? Maybe we’d even get to see all four girls back in action again. Best. News. Ever.
