Gingham is the print of the summer—and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner seems to be on board with it.
The Emmy-nominated actress was spotted wearing an all-gingham fit while strolling the streets of New York City. Her blue-and-white mini dress (with pockets!) paired beautifully with a pair of black-and-white gingham sandals by Staud. She kept the accessories at a minimum with a thick gold chain necklace and dark tortoiseshell sunglasses by Celine, as identified by the Daily Mail.

The coupling of the gingham and kitten heels borrows a page straight from Friends’ Rachel Green, another fiend for the fabric. Who doesn’t love an ode to ’90s fashion (or to the hilarious hit sitcom)?
Turner’s husband, Joe Jonas, accompanied her during the walk, looking equally as stylish in his Leisure Society by Shane Baum shades and a T-shirt with “Keanu Reeves” in place of the Tommy Hilfiger logo.
The newlyweds also recently got matching tattoos to commemorate their late dog, Waldo, who died in a car accident last week. In a photo of the new ink posted to her Instagram Story, Turner wrote, “I miss you, Waldo. Rest in Peace my little baby.”

Jonas posted a photo of his tat to his Instagram, captioning it, “R.I.P. my little angel.”
