It’s time for the Sussexes to take over Hollywood.

As Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan settle into their new Montecito home in Santa Barbara, the royal couple are entertaining future prospects in Hollywood. According to Variety, the Sussexes have spent the summer quietly pitching a special project to network executives. And even though the subject matter of their specific concept remains under wraps (will it be a scripted series, an unscripted series, something more unique?), what is known is that the couple plan to serve as joint producers.

Insiders told Variety that one of the media companies in talks with the Sussexes is NBCUniversal, where the couple reportedly met with some of the network’s top executives, including the Content Studios chairman, Bonnie Hammer, who knew Meghan from her tenure as an actress on Suits.

Though longtime fans of the duchess would absolutely relish the opportunity to see Meghan on their television screens again, Variety confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex has “absolutely no plans to act” in the pitched project.
