Terry Richardson, an image maker renowned for his often provocative, bold and striking portraits is releasing a new tome with Rizzoli. The self titled, Terry Richardson, features 600 of the photographer's works from over the past 20 years, including his most iconic shots and never-before-seen images that encompass the breadth of his career. The tome is divided into two volumes: portraits and fashion photography.
Since his sudden rise to fame in the '90s, Richardson has captured famous faces including Kate Moss and Barack Obama, and snapped designer campaigns for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as lensed countless magazine covers.
The book features contributions by pop culture notables including James Franco, Tom Ford, Chloë Sevigny, and Johnny Knoxville. Leto, a regular subject of Richardson's, explains of the glasses-wearing photog, "Terry defined a generation. Influenced an entire era of art and advertising. And ushered in a new age in photography."
