Gucci cruise 2015 by @unskilledworker
Fifty-year-old Instagram artist Helen Downie (aka the Unskilled Worker) found fame recently when Gucci invited her to view its cruise collection in New York and create paintings inspired by the show. The mum of four from the UK only started painting two years ago as a creative outlet after battling breast cancer, and posted one of her paintings on Instagram when her son's friend encouraged her to do so. She instantly garnered 1,000 followers and @unskilledworker was born. She said recently: "My artwork is based around chaos and mistakes, and that's how my life has been."
