Kim Kardashian, Instagram queen with 64.7 million followers, dropped some wisdom on her app today for all of us trying to up our Insta game.

1) Don't use more than one filter in your feed. "Pick the same filter every time (even if the image tones aren't similar)," Kim writes. "It helps make your photos connect with each other and your feed look pretty and harmonious."

2) Keep your overall vibe in mind. "[I] really like when people take the time to curate a cohesive feed—when they pick a vibe and stick to it (like how @thehautepursuit is all about muted white tones). That could mean always shooting pics against the same background, putting white boxes around all your pics, or sticking with the same colors, like all light or all dark backgrounds, all bright or muted colors, or all black and white."

3) Don't post too much from a single event. "This one is tough because I love having three pics that are the same, that kind of go together, so when they are lined up in the row, it's a series! I am guilty of this when we throw our parties—I love posting all of our photo booth pics, and I know it's overkill! Just don't do it too often." Ahem, better take note, Kourtney...
