Today, Prince Charles is celebrating his 71st year on this earth and the royal family is celebrating in the most 2019 way possible—on Instagram.
In honor of the Prince of Wales’s big day, his royal relatives are paying tribute to him all over social media. Here are all of Charles’ sweet birthday messages from his fellow royals:
Prince William and Kate Middleton honored Charles in a post on their Kensington Royal Instagram account. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kept their message short and sweet, writing, “Wishing a very happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!”
The truly touching part of the post? The photos. Kensington Royal shared three charming photos of Charles interacting with his sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official Instagram account, Sussex Royal, also shared a birthday tribute for Charles this morning. The Sussex family got a little more personal in their photo caption, listing some of their nicknames for Charles.
“Happy birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales – Sir, Pa, Grandpa! ?,” Sussex Royal wrote in the caption of the post, which included a photo of Charles standing alongside Harry and his newest grandchild, Archie Harrison.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip
The Queen’s official office, Buckingham Palace, posted another heartfelt (but short) birthday message for Charles on the official Royal Family Instagram.
“Wishing The Prince of Wales a very happy birthday! ?? #HappyBirthdayHRH, ” the palace wrote, along with a pair of photos—one depicting Charles now and a throwback to him as a baby with his mom and dad.
Camilla Parker-Bowles and Clarence House
Prince Charles’s own royal office, Clarence House, also commemorated the occasion on Instagram. Early this morning, the Clarence House Instagram shared a post featuring a series of photos of Charles celebrating his birthday this morning with children in Mumbai.
“Today The Prince of Wales turns 71! ?,” Clarence House wrote. “During a @thebritishasiantrust event in Mumbai this morning, HRH was given a birthday card and cake from school children. ? “
Later, Clarence House shared a second post: A picture of Charles dancing and looking dapper at a garden party.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes today for The Prince of Wales! ?” Clarence House wrote in the photo’s caption.
Happy Birthday, Prince Charles!
