Back again this year, the very popular M1 Singapore Fringe Festival brings performances such as Kebaya Homies by The Necessary Stage, and thought-provoking plays like A Tiny Country to the stage. This year’s theme is “My Country And My People”, which looks at the unity between a country and its people.

Singapore’s largest and most prestigious annual motoring event is back for its sixth edition in 2020. This year, visitors can expect a showcase of more than 30 automotive brands with exciting new car launches and exclusive offers, alongside activities and giveaways from non-automotive, lifestyle brands.

Another return is the spectacular Light To Night Festival. This year’s theme is “Invisible Cities” which is inspired by Italian writer Italo Calvino. Visit over 70 tantalising art encounters and multi-sensorial experiences at the Civic District to discover the stories behind the inspiration.

Dance music extraordinaire Bob Sinclair will spin for one night only at CÉ LA VI Singapore. The French DJ and music producer has worked with some of the greatest names in music, including Lionel Richie, Snoop Dogg, and Sugarhill Gang.

Pongal is celebrated mostly in South India over four days, by farmers who give thanks to ‘Surya’, the Sun God and giver of life, for the blessings of a rich harvest. In Singapore, the Pongal Harvest Festival in Singapore has four important days of celebration—head down to Campbell Lane in Little India and explore the unique festivities and daily performances held here.

Get into the Chinese New Year festive mood by visiting Chinatown for its range of activities and events, from street light-ups and festive street bazaar to the nightly stage shows and the 13th International Lion Dance Competition.

Usher in the Chinese New Year with this spectacular showcase which is the first-ever collaboration with Beijing Florascape Co., Ltd. in Southeast Asia. You can expect more than 70 Dahlia cultivars, and other festive plants commonly associated with the season such as Narcissus, Chrysanthemum, Azalea and Celosia at this event.

Bring in the huat this year by visiting large and lustrous pineapples, bags of gold and supersized mahjong tiles at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s Roof Garden. Named Huat Huat Land, this showcase promises Instagram-worthy moments for the family with larger-than-life pineapple installations that span up to 3-metres in height, illuminated in gold as night falls.

Themed “Colours in Harmony”, this year’s Chingay Parade will be a dynamic showcase of Singapore’s multiculturalism and diversity. About 6,000 volunteer performers will be involved, in highlights such as The World’s Biggest and Longest Flying Dragon, multi-ethnic cultural performances by local talents and international acts, plus stunning display of lights, lasers, pyrotechnic and fireworks.
