Now that Austin Butler and his charming good looks have returned to Instagram since his split from Vanessa Hudgens, it’s time to show some appreciation.
The American actor, who began his career on Disney’s hit television series Hannah Montana, has since gone on to play teenage heartthrobs in a string of teen TV shows. However, Butler’s most notable contemporary performance that solidified his dreamboat status among audiences has to be when he played bad boy Sebastian Kydd in Carries Diaries—a prequel to HBO’s Sex and The City series—alongside AnnaSophia Robb.
He was also the star of The Shannara Chronicles (a television series which originally aired on MTV-then-Spike TV) based on a dystopian future featuring elves, monsters and lots of magical mayhem.

With his smoldering good looks, boyish charms and acting chops, it came as no surprise when he became the star of Italian luxury label Prada‘s latest campaign, alongside American singer-songwriter Frank Ocean.
Butler will be taking on the role of a lifetime as the legendary Elvis Presley in an upcoming movie on the rock legend, directed by Baz Luhrmann—the Australian director and writer who’s best known for his lavish productions like The Great Gatsby and Romeo and Juliet, both starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
