Lady Gaga sent an absolute blessing from the heavens straight to our social media timelines this afternoon when she shared a photo of her and Adam Driver on the set of their new film, House of Gucci.
The snowy, behind-the-scenes snapshot shows the lead duo in gaudy ’80s garb as they pose on set in the Italian Alps, looking like somebody’s cool, hot parents on a ski trip before they had kids.
Driver, actually smiling (who wouldn’t next to Lady Gaga?), wears a cream-colored cable-knit sweater tucked into a white jumpsuit, with retro-framed glasses and feathery hair to complete the look. Gaga, regal as ever, wears a black turtleneck, belted trousers, fur hat, and layered gold jewelry. “Signore e Signora Gucci,” she captioned the photo.
The Internet naturally went spiralling.

The duo are starring in the Ridley Scott–directed film as Maurizio Gucci, grandson of designer Guccio Gucci, and his ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani, who was tried and convicted for Maurizio’s assassination in 1995. She served 18 years before being released in 2016, per Variety.
Roberto Bentivegna penned the screenplay based on Sara Forden‘s book House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. Jeremy Irons is playing Maurizio’s father, Rodolfo Gucci, and Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jack Huston, and Reeve Carney are also all in the cast. Gucci is set to release on November 24.

This marks the public’s first official look at the film, though recent paparazzi photos have shown Gaga and Driver together on set in the Alps. When filming began in Rome last month, we also caught glimpses of Gaga in costume, debuting her brunette hair and a luxe wardrobe that included a white suit and a leopard caftan by Celine.
