We Finally Know The Truth About Those Zendaya And Jacob Elordi Dating Rumors

Jacob Elordi of Euphoria fame has broken his silence about the dating rumors surrounding him and costar Zendaya. Spoiler alert: Fans of the potential couple aren't going to like the news.

The actor briefly opened up to GQ Australia about his bond with Zendaya, simply brushing off romance speculation with, "She’s like my sister." But that didn't stop the Aussie star from gushing over his counterpart.

"Zendaya is an amazing creative, you know? She's super dope to work with. She's an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us," Elordi said.

"But we're all really close," he added of his castmates, who include breakouts like Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, and Hunter Schafer. "There is not one weak link in that show. We've spent so much time together and everyone is just so cool to work with. Sam Levinson is just a genius and working with him, it was just like electricity all the time. I was in awe. Like a kid in a candy shop."

Fans first thought sparks were flying between Zendaya and Elordi in August, when they seemed to be spotted on vacation together in Greece. (They made a cameo in the background of a tourist's photo.) Then, in October, the two reportedly went on a movie date in L.A.

Most recently, the two were reportedly in Sydney together for Thanksgiving, Us Weekly reported. Fans spotted the duo on the train, and out and about with Elordi's parents. But going by the actor's words, there's nothing romantic going on here.
