Cirque Du Soleil’s Kooza

Cirque Du Soleil is back in Singapore, presenting their latest production, KOOZA. This multi-award winning production house is known for their incredible acrobatic performances, ornate costume and set designs that are set to leave the audiences awe-struck. KOOZA is a story about an innocent young boy stumbling upon a mysterious red chest. Once it’s opened, a whole slew of fantastical characters came out of it, transporting the boy into a magical world filled with wonder and excitement. It’s a journey of self-discovery and a celebration of imagination with an international cast of 50 acrobats, musicians, singers and actors from 19 different countries performing physically astonishing feats that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Baybeats 2017
14-16 July at the Esplanade
Held across three stages at the Esplanade, Baybeats is back with a genre-bending line-up boasting some of Singapore and Asia’s distinctive voices in the realms of post-rock, indie folk, heavy metal and electronica. Beyond a platform for vocal and instrumental prowess, Baybeats prides itself in gathering and grooming a new generation of gig photographers, video artists and music journalists; as well as in being a purveyor of cool vibes. There will also be a Festival Village housing stalls by local indie crafters and foodie entrepreneurs to keep you enticed and satisfied all day long.

STREAT at the Singapore Food Festival
14-15 July at Clifford Square (next to Fullerton Bay Hotel)
The signature event of the Singapore Food Festival, STREAT is an open-air food fiesta at Clifford Square, where a pop-up restaurant helmed by Candlenut’s Malcolm Lee and Wild Rocket’s Willin Low will be serving up a modern Singaporean and Peranakan three-course menu, communal style. 100 Festival
15-16, 22-23, 29-30 July at the former Bedok Town Secondary School
It’s name says it all—100 Festival is a 100-band music extravaganza that’s happening on the grounds of the former Bedok Town Secondary School over the next three weeks.
