StarWars

Secret Cinema is heading to a galaxy far, far away for its latest instalment.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back will be the focus of the immersive film company’s next project, which will take place this summer from 4 June. Cinemagoers will be invited to join the Rebel Alliance and head to a Secret City, where they will find themselves part of the film itself before watching a screening. The news comes as the world prepares for the seventh Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, the first in the series in ten years.

Previous Secret Cinemas have seen films including The Shawshank Redemption, The Grand Budapest Hotel and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest brought to life. Last year saw London’s Olympic Park transformed into the town from Back To The Future, Hill Valley, circa 1955, in what was described as one of the most ambitious projects to date.
