Step into Long Chim at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and be instantly transported to Bangkok: Photographs of its bustling streets and shophouse tiles fill the walls, while the aroma of Thai spices wafts from the open kitchen. At this first casual restaurant concept by noted chef David Thompson, there are beef skewers with cumin; prawns roasted with vermicelli; and wood-fired oven-roasted duck.
