People use the term “dream job” a lot (we’re guilty). But we really, actually just found your dream job. Buckingham Palace just posted an ad for “Head of Digital Engagement.” Yes, they need someone to hang out with William, Kate, George, Charlotte and even Harry and The Queen and tweet about it. It pays “£45,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience,” the post says. That comes out to about $70,000 a year.
Here are some details from the post:
The role of Royal Communications is to engage a worldwide audience with the public role and work of The Royal Family. Joining this fast paced and dynamic team, your challenge will be to lead on and develop our digital communications strategy, and ensure that we make effective use of a range of digital platforms to support these aims.
Whether you’re covering a state visit, award ceremony or royal engagement, you’ll make sure our digital channels consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.
That means you’d get to go on trips like this one with Will and Kate to India and Bhutan.
