In recent years, vegan and vegetarian diets have moved out of the fringe and into the mainstream. Scientists have discovered that a significant percentage of greenhouse gases that cause global warming is produced by livestock and by adopting a plant-based diet, we can help slow down climate change.

Of course, going cold turkey is easier said than done, especially with the limited vegan options on our sunny island. The Green Monday Group, owners of restaurant Green Common and plant-based food manufacturer OmniFoods, aims to make scrumptious vegan dishes more accessible by partnering with 50 restaurant outlets across Singapore.

Here’s a list of where to hit up for delicious plant-based grub.

The Fullerton Hotel and The Fullerton Bay Hotel offer a fully vegan set ($51++ per pax) comprising of Omni Luncheon and smoked tomato jam wheat sandwiches, Omni Crabless Crab sliders served with mango salsa, “Open Face Nicoise” with OmniTuna mayo, Just Fold Eggs and other savoury treats.
