Ariana Grande Is Reportedly Dating 'Wicked' Co-star Ethan Slater

The news arrives days after we learned that Grande and husband Dalton Gomez are separating

Ariana Grande may have a new man in her life.

Just days after multiple outlets reported on her separation from husband Dalton GomezTMZ broke the news that the “Thank U, Next” singer has officially moved on, with Ethan Slater, her costar in the film adaptation of Wicked, which they’re shooting now.

The outlet notes that, while Grande and Gomez have been separated since January, they remain friends. Gomez, too, has been dating since their split.

Other sources confirmed the new romance between Grande and Slater to People.

“Ariana and Dalton separated in January,” one insider said. “She and Ethan recently began dating, and he is separated from his wife.”

In the forthcoming Jon M. Chu musical adaptation, Grande stars as Galinda, while Slater plays Boq, the love interest of main character Elphaba’s younger sister, Nessarose.

Grande’s and Slater’s reps have yet to respond to the reports.

News of Grande and Gomez’s separation came this past Monday. The couple, who started dating in January 2020 and got married in May 2021, reportedly came to a mutual decision to break up.

“Ariana and Dalton’s friends have always been concerned by their whirlwind romance and felt their relationship would ultimately be short-lived,” one source explained to Entertainment Tonight. “Their relationship has been rocky at different points, and they’ve had trouble making time for each other with scheduling issues.”

Another insider told Page Six, “They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.” The insider emphasised they they still want to be “really good friends throughout the entire process. Their friends and families have been trying to protect them.”
