"I chose to do a self-portrait with my parents, wearing a Chinese funeral mourning outfit, which is specifically meant for the son to wear while mourning his deceased parents. It's the utmost tribute I can offer our founder, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, as I am wearing the mourning outfit while my parents are still alive."—as told to Harper's Bazaar Singapore.
