Birthdays when you're Beyoncé are meant to be major celebrations, and the pop star's 39th birthday earlier this month was no exception.

According to E! News, the “Mood 4 Eva” singer and her family flew to the island of Croatia to celebrate her birthday on September 4. Her husband, Jay-Z, and their three children, daughter Blue Ivy, 8, and twins Rumi and Sir Carter, 3, all tagged along.

“The Carters celebrated Beyoncé's birthday with a sailing trip on the Adriatic Sea along the coast of Croatia. They spent most of their time on the superyacht, Lana, anchored in the Dubrovnik Riviera,” a source told E! News. They later revealed that the family then “took a smaller boat to the heart-shaped island of Galesnjak for a birthday meal.”
