BTS' RM Graces Suki Seokyeong Kang's Biggest-Ever Solo Exhibition In Seoul
Bottega Veneta's latest artistic partnership takes us to the heart of the South Korean capital
Seoul’s Leeum Museum of Art was the it gallery to visit yesterday, thanks to prestigious artist Suki Seokyeong Kang and her biggest solo exhibition to date, unveiled in partnership with Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta.

The exhibition, titled “Willow Drum Oriole,” is comprised of 130 paintings, sculptures and multimedia pieces exploring the notion of individuality and freedom. The expansive collection also drew in troves of fans, including BTS’ one-and-only leader Kim Nam-joon, better known as RM. The rapper was even spotted with the artist during the dance presentation.

It’s not unusual for Bottega Veneta to work closely with cultural institutions, having previously partnered with the Palazzo Grassi Punta della Dogana in Venice, Dia Beacon in New York, and the Lina Bo Bardi Institute in São Paulo.
Suki Seokyeong Kang: Willow Drum Oriole will be on view from 7 September – 31 December 2023 at the Leeum Museum of Art.
