Cartier Honours 6 Inspiring Women At Its Women’s Initiative Awards 2017

The event was held at Singapore's historic Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall

Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2017

Cartier presented the six laureates of its Women’s Initiative Awards 2017 at Singapore's very own Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall last night. With 2017's theme being, “Transform. Lead the change you want to see”, each honouree was chosen by an independent international jury from nearly 1900 applicants from over 120 countries for the positive change that they were bringing to their communities.

“The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards reward and help the laureates with financial resources, mentoring support and a network in order to make their ideas and dream come true, feet on the earth and heads in the stars,” said Cyrille Vigneron, CEO of Cartier International, in his speech. “I am happy and proud to develop these Initiative Awards, to encourage and support these great women to be the drivers of change.”

Also in attendance were Sandi Toksvig, the UK broadcaster famed for promoting gender equality in politics and society, Eunice Olsen, Singaporean TV personality and tireless champion of women’s empowerment, as well as INSEAD Dean Ilian Mihov.
