Chadwick Boseman's Former Costars And Fans Share Tributes On The One-Year Anniversary Of His Death

Chadwick Boseman's costars and fans have taken to social media to share tributes honoring the one-year anniversary of his death.
The late actor, who was beloved to millions of people for his acclaimed performances of heroes, both fictional and historical, passed last year at the age of 43, after a private, years-long battle with colon cancer.
Lupita Nyong'o shared a loving tribute to her late friend and Black Panther costar, with a picture of herself and Boseman sharing a laugh. "I did not know that I could miss both his laughter and his silence in equal measure. I do. I do... One year after his passing, the memory of @chadwickboseman remains this alive in me," Nyong'o wrote.

Michael B. Jordan also took to Instagram to share a tribute to his Black Panther co-star. "Not a day goes by bro… Love and miss you but I know you still with us," Jordan wrote.
Viola Davis shared a photo from the set of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Boseman received a posthumous Screen Actors Guild Award and his first Oscar nomination for the Netflix film, which was final live-action role.
"This day last year you left this earth and us. Man you are missed!!! 💔🙏🏿❤," Davis wrote in the caption.

Boseman's Marshall costar Josh Gad re-shared the screenshot of a text he received from Boseman, where the late actor reflected on a rainy day in Los Angeles. "Not a day goes by one year later, where it doesn’t still hurt. But in the darkness, he always reminds us of the light. He was an angel on this planet and is now a Saint on high. Love you and miss you more than ever… forever," Gad wrote.
