This August, two restaurants—PATH from Singapore, and Eat and Cook (#79 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants) from Malaysia—pay culinary tributes to their respective National Days. Chefs Marvas Ng, Lee Zhexi and Soh Yongzhi will guest cook in each other’s kitchens in a series of special collaborative events—Singapore will host the first set of collaborations on 7 and 8 August, dinner only ($258++/pax); followed by a reciprocal ‘leg’ in Kuala Lumpur later in the month. The 8-course tasting menu will articulate the special cross-border relationship, where "each dish embodies friendship, kinship and a deep sense of national pride." Look forward to dishes like Crystal Chicken Feet with Teochew Chilli & Yuzu Pickled Cherry Tomato, Century Egg Shu Mai & Siew Bao, and Maine Lobster "Sui Gao".
