3. In 2001, Hudson graced the Oscars in this gorgeous Chloe number. It was designed by Stella McCartney when she was at the helm of the brand. That year was also Hudson's first time meeting McCartney, and this glamourous friendship has been ongoing ever since.

1. Kate Hudson's loving family includes her superstar mother, legendary actress Goldie Hawn and brother, Oliver Hudson. She considers Hawn's long time partner, veteran actor Kurt Russell her father figure. She also has a half-brother Wyatt Russell (not pictured), whom Hawn had with Russell.

5. Remember how amazing Hudson's body looked in the Versace dress she wore to the Golden Globes in 2015? She owes it all to Pilates and yoga, which she practices regularly. In 2013, she partnered with JustFab, an online fashion retailer, launching a line of a sportswear called Fabletics.

6. Hudson also has two beautiful sons. In January 2004, Hudson gave birth to her first son, Ryder Russell Robinson, which she had with her then-husband, Chris Robinson. Her second child, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, which she had with Matt Bellamy, her then-boyfriend was born in July 2011.
