Beyond the year-end festivities, Christmas is also about the spirit of giving and spreading love. From 14 to 17 December, EQUAL—a charity organisation that partners retired, rescued and re-homed horses and dogs to offer animal-assisted programmes for vulnerable persons—returns with its second edition of Christmas At The Stable to raise funds and reach out to different groups of beneficiaries such as children, youth and elderly of diverse backgrounds.
Event goers will be able to tour EQUAL's stable, home to their 16 horses, and get a glimpse of how its animal-assisted programmes support the well-being and development of social, emotional and communication skills of children and youth, persons with special needs, as well as the elderly. Animal lovers can also learn how to care for and interact with horses safely; as well as engage in games, art activities and workshops.
Largely supported by IN GOOD COMPANY, the event's Christmas market also features other homegrown brands like Plain Vanilla, Mud Rock Ceramics and Rough Beauty, all of whom are donating part or all their proceeds in support of EQUAL.
