Gigi Hadid’s Easy Weekday Look Includes Mom Jeans And Loafers With Socks

Gigi Hadid is constantly proving with her style that easy and cozy doesn't have to be boring.

Yesterday, the supermodel was spotted out in New York City in a relaxed off-duty outfit that consisted of comfy yet chic staples. The Guest in Residence founder wore a cream crewneck sweater from her brand over blue wide-leg mom jeans with large rips at the knees. For footwear, she opted for cream loafers by Tory Burch, which she wore with white socks.

Hadid further accessorized with a beige cap, which she wore backward; round sunglasses; and a black leather weekend bag by Givenchy.

"My goal in life is to look as chic or put together as possible while always being comfortable. I very rarely, even on red carpets, will wear things that I feel uncomfortable in throughout the event because I just feel like I can't be myself as much when I'm thinking about what I'm wearing in that way," she said last September, during a pop-up of her cashmere knit brand in New York City's SoHo.

But when she's not in her go-to Birkenstocks or loafers, oversized pants, and a cozy top, Hadid can also shut down any red carpet. Earlier this month at an Oscars after-party, Hadid looked timeless in a red custom Zac Posen off-the-shoulder gown with long sleeves. She paired the piece with silky red pumps and accessorized with diamond jewelry. Her glam was equally sophisticated: silky Hollywood waves, a sleek cat eye, and a rosy shadow, blush, and lip.
