Before becoming the biggest model of the moment, Gigi Hadid was a regular high schooler who, like most teens, went to prom and took a million pictures. Except unlike most teens, she did not take one embarrassing shot. Take a look at her newly-discovered prom photos from 2013.
She wore a classy bright red Herve Leger knee-length dress with a braided neckline and short sleeves; a simple pairing with her golden beach waves. While most high schoolers opt for long gowns, she and her friends went with the SoCal tradition of sporting shorter hemlines. Even her sister Bella followed suit with a white mini dress.
"In Malibu, we wear short dresses to prom because we live at the beach. The long dress thing gets a little in your way in the sand and stuff," the model told W Magazine. Makes sense.
