Gossip Girl Reboot New Cast

While you wait for HBO Max's reimagining of Gossip Girl to arrive in 2021, get to know the new faces set to star in the updated series. The 10-episode show, which picks up eight years after the original, will feature a fresh crop of diverse, up-and-coming stars. We've gotten peeks at the ensemble from leaked paparazzi photos from the set in New York City, but here, we take a closer look at the cast. At this point, few details are public about the characters, but we'll be updating as soon as we find out.

Lind's character, Audrey, "has been in a long term relationship and is beginning to wonder what more could be out there," Deadline announced in March.

You've seen her before in television series like Revenge, Code Black, All My Children, Criminal Minds, and Hawaii Five-0. She's also been in movies like The Secret Life of Bees and Netflix's The Babysitter.

There aren't many details about Alexander's character yet; so far, we know she'll be one of the leads and "one of the girls at school."

You've see her Facebook Watch's Sacred Lies: The Singing Bones. The Canadian star is also a singer and released the single "You" in June.

Peak's character remains mysterious for now, but she, Lind, and Eli Brown are set to be "the leading trio" of the new series.

You've previously seen her in Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as Judith Blackwood and in Apple TV+'s Home Before Dark as Alpha Jessica. She also had a small role in the Oscar-nominated film Molly's Game. The actress was born in Kampala, Uganda, before growing up in Vancouver, Canada.

Brown, pictured right, is also part of the leading trio. You might recognize him from the shows Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists and Netflix's Spinning Out, or films like The F**k-It List and Run Hide Fight.

Fernandez is a confirmed member of the core ensemble, though we don't know the name of his character yet. He's previously starred in Fox's Lethal Weapon series and appeared in shows like Girls, Younger, and Bull.

Gotay is also in the ensemble. The Broadway actor has appeared in Bring It On and Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, and New York City Center’s revival of Evita.

Gevinson's name might be the most recognizable from the group, but her role remains under wraps as well. After gaining recognition as the founder of the Rookie Mag website, the writer and style star dove into acting, landing roles in series like Scream Queens (as Feather McCarthy), Neo Yokio, and The Twilight Zone, and films like Person to Person and Enough Said.

Moreno's part is also unknown for now, but she has previously appeared in TNT’s Claws and Netflix's Spanish-language hacker drama Control Z.

Doherty is a Disney alum (Descendants 2) who went on to star in Hulu's High Fidelity and HBO's Catherine the Great, which starred Helen Mirren.

Chanler-Berat (pictured right) has a background on the stage, where he appeared as Henry in Next to Normal, Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Nino in Amélie.

Smith has a yet-to-be named lead role, believed to be "one of the cool girls at the school," Deadline announced in April. The newcomer is studying acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
