Cox's post is the first get-together pic posted by members of the Friends cast since the HBO Max reunion special last May. During the reunion, Cox said that the chemistry that made the show so special was strengthened by the actors' close relationships on- and offscreen. Cox told her castmates that she cherished the connections they had made during an emotional segment on the reunion.

"It was an incredible time. Everything came together. We became best friends through just the chemistry, the whole thing. It was life-changing and it forever will be — not just for us, but for people who watch it, and that's such a great feeling to carry forever. I'm really thankful, and I love you guys so much," Cox said.
