Jennifer Coolidge is ready to return to the universe of Legally Blonde.
Reese Witherspoon, who stars as leading lady Elle Woods in the iconic early-aughts movie franchise, recently told Entertainment Tonight that a third instalment of Legally Blonde wouldn't be possible without Coolidge, who plays the lovable Paulette Bonafonté.
"There is no Legally Blonde 3 without Jennifer Coolidge," Witherspoon told the outlet.
In a new interview with Extra, Coolidge responded to Witherspoon's statement, assuring fans everywhere that she is 100 percent down to reprise her role.

"Of course, I would be on board. I've been hearing about it for a long time," Coolidge said. "Maybe it is really is happening at this point. I would love to do it. I would absolutely love to do Legally Blonde 3."
While speaking to ET, Witherspoon gushed over Coolidge's comedic talent and resurfaced fandom.
"I'm beyond myself about Jennifer Coolidge," the actress said. "She deserves every one of those flowers she is receiving right now. And she's just one of those people who is so naturally gifted and funny and that you can just tell people love her, 'cause she gets up there and everybody's like, 'I love her,' but she's just done a lot of good work in our business for so long, that it's really nice to see her getting this incredible moment."

Legally Blonde 3 was first confirmed to be in the works back in 2018, though the movie has experienced multiple delays during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor are set to co-write the script.
