Kim Kardashian Threw North West the Most Luxe Overnight Camp Birthday Party

Most nine year olds might be content ringing in their birthday with some cake and a few presents—but most nine years old aren't North West.

Kim Kardashian's eldest child, whom she shares with ex Kanye West, officially turned nine years old on June 15, and the mom of four made sure to celebrate in typical Kardashian–West fashion.

The SKIMS mogul threw her daughter a fantastical camping extravaganza that included a private jet to haul North and her pals to the woods, plus a litany of fun-filled activities like zip lining, wakeboarding, and more.

Kardashian shared a glimpse into the epic birthday experience on Instagram. "CAMP 🏕 NORTH," she captioned the post.

Photos and videos show that North and her friends arrived at their wilderness destination via a private jet, which was decked out with appropriately woodsy decor and signs and balloons that read, "Camp North." The overnight experience also included beds that were designed to appear as individual tents, complete with a spray-painted "blood" effect and a stuffed deer head fastened to the top of the entrance.

More photos posted to Kardashian's Instagram Story show that guests were treated to custom Camp North pajamas and additionally got to try their hand at shooting arrows.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Kardashian explained that the event's spooky theme originated from her daughter's love of special effects makeup.

"She does really good wounds and scars; she's really good at it," Kardashian said. "She was taking classes, and so she wanted to have a spooky wilderness-themed birthday party. So I took them out camping in the wilderness."
