You’ve seen the long queues and the TikTok reviews, but what’s actually good at Molly Tea? The Chinese tea brand is popular worldwide for its focus on jasmine-forward teas, and how its drinks have a light, fragrant and authentic taste. Its brand new outlet at Orchard Central is the largest one in Southeast Asia, and sees the adorable Molly mascot in a merlion costume.

As for the drinks to get, here’s a list of Molly Tea’s signature brews:

  • Premium Jasmine Milk Tea: You can’t go wrong with this one. Placed first on the global bestseller list, this tea is made from freshly picked double-petal jasmine flowers from Guangxi infused into high-mountain tea.
  • Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea: Apple juice meets high-mountain Guangxi tea in this one, so you get a dose of fruity sweetness first before the jasmine notes and the milk tea notes hit you.
  • Pistachio Jasmine Coconut: If you love a fragrant and savoury moment, you’d live for this. This tea combines jasmine with refreshing coconut water and nutty pistachio cheese.
  • Snowy Jasmine: An elevated take on the bestselling Jasmine Milk Tea, with jasmine-infused whipped cream for a silky, floral finish.
  • White Champaca Matcha: For the matcha fanatics, get the fragrant white champaca tea topped with matcha cheese foam, balancing delicate florals with umami richness.
  • White Champaca Oolong Milk Tea: Mengding high-mountain oolong from Ya’an, Sichuan blended with premium milk for a smooth, mellow and silky-smooth taste.

For those who are lactose intolerant or prefer oat milk, you can order drinks like the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea and the White Champaca Milk Tea with oat milk too.

Molly Tea is open daily from 10.30am to 10.30pm at #01-17A, Orchard Central, 181 Orchard Road. For more information, visit Molly Tea’s site.
