10 'Lost' Polaroids That Prove Madonna Was Destined To Be An Icon

Photos have emerged of a young, pre-fame Madonna that show her as a trend-setter and star in the making

A new book, entitled 'Madonna 66', has ben released, featuring 66 unseen photos of Madonna in the 1980s. Shot by Richard Corman, the images were themed around a modern-day Cinderella story. The singer was just 24 at the time and the photographs were taken six weeks before her debut album, when stardom was thrust upon her.

Corman thought he had lost the images, but unearthed them during a recent apartment move in New York. They prove with utter certainty that Madonna was destined for icon status.
