- The Duchess of Sussex has made a previously unscheduled trip to New York to watch Serena Williams play in the US Open final.
- After arriving in the United States, Meghan Markle attended a public yoga class in Manhattan.
- It's being reported that Meghan will return home to England at the end of the weekend.
Meghan Markle is passionate about supporting her friends, even if that means organizing a trip to the other side of the world.
Having supported Serena Williams when she played at Wimbledon earlier this year, the duchess decided to make a special trip to New York to watch her friend play in the US Open final. The Times reported that Meghan was "excited to support her friend, and then come back," and that the duchess would be flying commercial for the journey.
For the occasion, Meghan sat in Serena Williams's box. She wore a blue denim dress with a light gray sweater blazer draped over her shoulders, both from J. Crew (per @MeghansMirror). Sadly, her denim dress has since sold out.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie reported on Meghan's appearance via Twitter and wrote, "Keep an eye out for Duchess Meghan at today’s 4pm EST @serenawilliams vs. @Bandreescu_ #USOpen women’s final. I’m told she’s 'super excited' to be in NYC to cheer Williams on. 'It wasn’t originally in the diary, a last minute trip, but you support your friends no matter what.'"

Following Meghan's arrival in the United States, People reported that the royal went to a public class at a yoga studio in the West Village, which is apparently eco-conscious. Duchess Meghan apparently joined a busy class of around 60 people, as she attempted to ward off her jet lag, according to a source.
