Paper lanterns are a simple way to get festive. They are easy to set up and remove. We suggest the classic Chinese lantern shapes but in black and white to elevate the room. Choose LED versions as they are less of a fire hazard and faff to deal with. Hang a couple in a row or in clusters at various areas of your home.

Along with the paper lanterns, you can also opt for paper flowers to add colour to your living space. There are several tutorials for DIY versions of paper flowers, so if you are itching to get crafty, now's the time.
