All The Nominees For The 2023 MTV VMAs

The nominations for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards are officially in—and Taylor Swift, SZA, and Doja Cat are leading the pack.

A year after making VMAs history as the only artist to win Video of the Year three times, Swift returns to this year's awards circuit with a whopping eight nominations, securing her place at the top of the nominees list.

She's closely followed by SZA, whose second studio album SOS earned her six nominations. Other artists like Doja CatOlivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, and Sam Smith tail after with five nominations, while Blackpink and Shakira have nabbed four.

This year's list also broke the record for the most number of first-time nominees. A total of 35 artists including Ice Spice, GloRilla, Kim PetrasReneé Rapp, and boygenius received their first-ever VMAs nomination.
