With all that has happened this year, there really is no reason not to celebrate the end of 2020. While the number of people at gatherings is restricted to a group of eight come Dec 28, we can still have a celebratory feast, surrounded by the ones we love. Herein, the restaurants in Singapore with sumptuous New Year’s Eve dinner menus.

The Knolls at Capella Singapore

At Capella Singapore, The Knolls is offering a 5-course dinner serving delicious dishes such as the “Carabinero” Red Prawn with Torched Organic Egg, Parsnip Puree and Smoked Prawn Emulsion and Char-Grilled Wagyu Beef Striploin with Black Truffle Potato Purée, and Bordelaise sauce

But if you want something a little more Asian, Chinese speciality restaurant Cassia is offering a 6-course dinner menu with a modern twist. Think Double-Boiled Fish Maw Soup with Sea Whelk and Dried Scallops and Wok-Fried Australian Wagyu Beef with Black Pepper Sauce.

On Dec 31, chef Kirk Westaway will be serving a very special eight-course menu that includes Cornish Seabass with Caviar Sauce and Truffle Pudding; Creedy Carver Devonshire Duckling with apple and cranberry sauce as well as Baron Bigod cheese toast. 

Besides great food and even better company, the beautiful view of the Singapore skyline from Hotel Swissôtel The Stamford is a wonderful way to end the year.

If you want something a little fancier, then book your family the New Year’s Eve 7-course degustation experience at Braci. 

Your Italian experience include the Grilled Abalone with Squid Ink Fregola and Albino Sturgeon Caviar; Scampi with coconut, miso, nuts; Tagliolini topped with Sea Urchin and Caviar; as well as Wild Turbot with Alaskan King Crab and Clam Jus.

The best part is that you can see your food being made in the open-concept kitchen.

Kinki Restaurant + Bar

Kinki Restaurant + Bar is an urban Japanese concept with stunning views of the Marina Bay waterfront and skyline.

On New Year’s Eve, it will be serving a 5-course dinner menu that comes with a complimentary glass of champagne.

The menu starts with Scallop Tartare with Shiso Leaf Tempura and Seared Tuna Loin, followed by Sashimi Sushi Omakase, featuring a line-up of chef’s selections for the day. For mains, you can choose between Wagyu Katsu With Uni Capellini (a fried breaded buttery sanchoku Australian wagyu steak), or the juicy Mentaiko Tiger Prawn with Uni Capellini (grilled tiger prawn with spicy cod roe).

That’s not all. Kinki is also offering a platter of delights featuring signature items such as the Seared Salmon with homemade mentaiko sauce, Avocado & Fig Maki, Ebi Fries, Cassava Nachos and Sea Salt Edamame. 

The restaurant will temporarily close on 1 January 2021 for renovations before it reopens in the first quarter of 2021.
