King Charles's coronation is coming up, and it looks like the Sussexes may not be on the guest list—but is anyone surprised?

A source confirms to BAZAAR.com that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have yet to be invited to the coronation. For now, it's unclear if an invite will come eventually, as a Buckingham Palace insider says that "no decision" has been made regarding the Sussexes attending.

The news doesn't necessarily come as a surprise to fans who know the royals were stunned by Prince Harry's recently released memoir, Spare, in which the Duke of Sussex exposes the ins and outs of the royal family. Last month, a source exclusively told BAZAAR that Prince William, in particular, was left "devastated" by the book.

During his press tour for the memoir, Harry sat down for a series of interviews, and during a chat with ITV's Tom Bradby, he touched on the possibility of reuniting with his family at his father's coronation, which is taking place on May 6.

"There's a lot that can happen between now and then, but the door is always open. The ball is in their court," Harry said. "There's a lot to be discussed, and I really hope that they are willing to sit down and talk about it."

King Charles has not publicly reacted to his youngest son's explosive tell-all—or to his and wife Meghan's Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan—but in a speech shortly after he ascended the throne following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the monarch expressed his support of the couple.

"I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas," he said at the time.
