The public reunion comes two days after Prince William and Prince Harry reunited privately at Balmoral Castle on Thursday to say their goodbyes to their grandmother' neither Kate nor Meghan joined them in Scotland at the time.

It also comes after King Charles announced William and Kate's new titles as Prince and Princess of Wales, and praised Harry and Meghan in his first speech as the new sovereign of the United Kingdom.

Earlier today, Prince William shared a touching tribute to his grandmother, in which he remembered the love and support the late monarch gave to his family.

"My grandmother famously said that grief was the price we pay for love. All of the sadness we will feel in the coming weeks will be testament to the love we felt for our extraordinary Queen. I will honour her memory by supporting my father, The King, in every way I can," he said.
