As bold as it is stylish, this statement-making foldable smartphone is Samsung’s second foldable phone after the Galaxy Fold, and the first with a foldable glass display. Featuring a clamshell design with Samsung’s proprietary bendable Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), the device boasts a sleek design unlike any other foldable devices.

Designed for functional portability, the phone also features a 6.7-inch display that folds into a small, compact form that fits nicely in the palm of your hand, pocket or bag. When closed, an exterior display shows battery status, date and time, as well as real time notifications you can respond to without unfolding the device; you can also capture one-handed high-quality selfies using the rear camera.

Notably, Galaxy Z Flip’s Hideaway Hinge is what sets it apart in creating a unique foldable experience. The phone can stay open at a range of angles in what Samsung terms the ‘Flex mode’, which works like a laptop screen. The new design also integrates Samsung’s new sweeper technology, using nylon fibers to repel dirt and dust that would otherwise damage the screen.

Singapore will be the first market in Southeast Asia to launch the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip on 14 February 2020, Friday, from 8am on M1, Singtel and StarHub’s online stores and Samsung at a recommended retail price of $1,998.

The Galaxy Z Flip will be available in Mirror Purple and Mirror Black.

Samsung has also introduced the S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra as part of the Galaxy S20 lineup. No smartphone is complete without some mind-blowing specs and game-changing cameras—the S20 Ultra boasts the best cameras of the series, including a 108MP camera, and a 100x zoom capability.

A feature Samsung calls “Single Take” allows you to capture a moment and choose from various filming iterations—be it stills, clips or boomerangs in different resolutions and display ratios. Samsung even filmed the Unpacked event on the S20s, so you know they mean business.

The devices in the S20 series come in three sizes: S20 at 6.2″, S20+ at 6.7″ and S20 Ultra at 6.9″, and they all support 5G—though only the 5G variant of the S20 Ultra will be available in Singapore.
