It’s the most wonderful time of the year. On 24 and 25 December, Thirty Six Brewlab and Smokehouse will be presenting a festive 4-course menu boasting a selection of seasonal favourites with a local twist. Developed by Executive Chef XR and his team, this hearty feast will see the inclusion of an amuse bouche of Prawn Cocktail, Beetroot Caviar or Wild Mushroom Bruschetta, as well as starters like Hamachi Tartare, served with sour cream, chive and caviar; Foie Gras Duck Terrine, with dark rye bread cracker, fig jam and herb salad; Jamon Iberico Bellota with sweet rockmelon and micro cress; and Heirloom Cherry Tomato Salad, with mini mozzarella, balsamic caviar, green oil, olive crumble and tomato foam.

Moving on to the mains, the restaurant will be serving up a mouthwatering array of dishes that are cooked to perfection such as the Traditional New Zealand Ribeye, Slow Roasted Turkey Breast or Gammon Ham. For those who prefer something with a more contemporary twist, you might want to consider the Crispy Rolled Pork Belly, Slow Roast Leg of Lamb, Norwegian Salmon or Nut Roast.

Of course, no meal is complete without a sweet treat. And if you’re one who has a sweet tooth, then you’ll dig the desserts that Thirty Six Brewlab and Smokehouse will be serving on the day itself. Some of these desserts include the Christmas Fruitcake with Chocolate, made with love using premium cognac, mixed dried fruits, nuts and homemade cognac sauce; Black Forest Cake served with chocolate mousse and wild fresh berries, as well as the exclusive 36 Beer A Misu, served with wild fresh berries.
