There were some iconic celebrity link-ups at the 2023 Grammy Awards, from pictures of Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift to Adele and boyfriend Rich Paul fangirling over meeting Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. But amid all the controversy over breakup anthems these days (you can thank Miley Cyrus and Shakira for that), one wholesome moment stood out to us in particular: the seemingly warm and fuzzy relationship between exes Taylor Swift and Harry Styles.

In case you've been living under a rock for the past ten years and didn't know, Taylor and Harry started dating in 2012 before breaking up just a few months later. Styles is rumoured to have inspired several songs off of Swift's 2014 album, 1989. But Styles has always been gracious when asked about his superstar ex-girlfriend in interviews. According to sources from E! and Just Jared, Styles famously told Howard Stern in March 2020 that “I think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it’s like flattering, even if the song isn’t that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using Taylor as an example, she’s a great songwriter. So at least they’re good songs.”

As for Swift, the short-lived relationship is definitely a thing of the past. The singer has long since moved on and has been lovingly coupled up with British actor Joe Alwyn for over five years already. And while Swift reflected on the fraught relationship in a 2015 interview with ELLE, it appears as though she harbours no hard feelings towards her ex now. We're here for it.
