The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just met baby Archie for the first time
They finally met their new nephew

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have finally met their royal nephew Archie, on a visit to new parents the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Frogmore Cottage.
Meghan and Harry welcomed their son last Monday, who was born at 5.26am on 6 May, weighing 7lbs 3oz. His full name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and he’s seventh in line to the throne.
Royal Correspondent Victoria Murphy confirmed the visit on Twitter: “William & Kate visited their new nephew, ArchieHarrison, at Frogmore Cottage today after Prince Harry returned from Oxford.”
She added that their children weren’t with them, "so it will be a little while yet before George, Charlotte and Louis meet their new cousin".
Due to the royal family’s packed schedules, William and Kate were delayed in meeting Archie, as they were both busy with the launch of the King’s Cup regatta and visiting North Wales.

“Harry and Meghan spent the weekend enjoying their first weekend as parents, celebrating Mother’s Day, and had visits from a few friends,” reported People.
Baby Archie was first introduced to the world last week during a special appearance from Harry and Meghan at Windsor Castle.
The Queen and Prince Philip were the first royals to meet baby Archie, who is their eighth grandchild. Last week they were photographed with the new parents, plus baby Archie and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.
Prior to the arrival of Archie, there was lots of speculation over his name and whether he'd have a royal title.
As we now know, Archie didn't received a royal title upon birth, due to a Letters Patent passed by King George V in 1917. The only way Meghan and Harry's child could be given a title is if the Queen steps in. It's likely that they decided against it as a family.
Whereas, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were given their titles because they are the children of Prince William, who is the son of the Prince of Wales, heir to the throne.
