These Are The Most Beautiful Bars And Restaurants Around The World

Great restaurants are loved for more than just their food. Interior design plays an important part in the overall dining experience, which is why the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards celebrate stunning eating and drinking spaces each year.

The 2016 award winners have recently been announced, after restaurants and bars from around the world were judged by influential names in design, hospitality and lifestyle. The good news is, there's no need to travel far to enjoy this year's most beautiful eatery. German Gymnasium in London's King's Cross, praised for being a "very cool space," was named the Best Overall Restaurant.

"They have done a fab job in what would be a difficult space to make feel welcoming," said judge Justin Hemmes.
